A portrait of my incredibly loving dog, Bean. She's been chasing parked sofas since the day she was born, so now I feel a little closer to understanding how the great portrait painters of the Renaissance must have felt. As Rembrant once said, 'If you can't make em beautiful, make em lumpy and dignified.'
Assignment: Draw yourself as an animal. This work spawned more out of my seemingly perpetual (and embarrassing) flush than any actual affinity to alcohol.
